Neutral Sentiment Soars in Latest AAII Sentiment Survey
In the most recent American Association for Individual Investors survey, Neutral sentiment jumped.
For the week ending, October 19, 2011, Bullish sentiment fell 3.8% to 36.0%, Neutral sentiment rose 5.5% to 29.4%, and Bearish sentiment fell 1.8% to 34.6%.
Bullish sentiment is still below its historical average of 39%, and Neutral sentiment is below its historical average of 31%. Bearish sentiment is still well above its historical average of 30%.
