Lean Hogs Mixed

Tuesday's USDA Hog slaughter was 422,000 head versus a year ago at 400,000 head.

Lean hog futures traded very choppy and ended the day mixed with little change after early gains were erased during active in the afternoon. July Hogs were trading at 74.35, up 0.12 and August hogs were trading at 72.27, down 0.10. October Hogs were trading at 63.15, down 0.17 and December Hogs were trading at 61.05, up 0.30.
