Corn Moves Up

Corn Futures are have moved up a little of the early lows of the session on Wednesday. July Corn is trading at 368 1/2, up 1 cent. September Corn is trading at 373 1/2, up 1 1/2 cents. December Corn is trading at 382 1/2, up 1 1/4 cents.

Market chatter about weather continues non-stop. The Illinois State progress report showed some corn tasseling in central and west/southwest Illinois. Statewide the precipitation was 2.65 above normal. Market talk about overall slack Chinese corn imports during May has been making the rounds. Some chatter is making the rounds that U.S. farmer selling of old crop corn at current levels is ongoing.
