Corn, Wheat Higher

Corn and Wheat futures settled higher on Friday after a choppy trading session. Market chatter about weather and positioning ahead of the USDA production and supply/demand report next week kept both buyers and sellers active. Spillover buying from higher soybean prices was supportive.

September Corn settled at 372 3/4, up 3 cents and December Corn settled at 383 3/4, up 3 1/4 cents.

September Chicago Wheat settled at 510 1/2, up 3 1/2 cents and December Chicago Wheat settled at 515 3/4, up 4 1/4 cents. September Kansas City Wheat settled at 493, up 3 1/2 cents and December Kansas City Wheat settled at 513 3/4, up 3 3/4 cents.
