Lean Hog Futures Mixed
April lean hogs are trading at 68.32, up 0.30 cents/lb. June lean hogs are trading at 77.72, down 0.10 cents/lb
Lean hog futures are trading on both sides of unchanged after Friday's move up.
Talk about weather and cash prices is making the rounds.
Friday's USDA hog slaughter was 399,000 head versus 433,000 head a year ago. Saturday's hog slaughter was 119,000 head. The total hog slaughter for last week was 2,280,000 head versus 2,209,000 head a year ago.
